Transparency – it’s the buzzword for 2017. The word itself means to be able to see right through something; to be open and honest. Unfortunately, many people have taken transparency to mean pull back the curtains and show everything – flaws, mistakes and all. I’ve always wondered if that was smart on a business level because watching it happen would leave me feeling awkward; almost as though I had been duped.
